I still have many weeks worth of images left to process from my trip to New Zealand with Nat Coalson back in 2009. This morning I was in search of a new waterfall image and came across this shot from when we were on the North Island. Trying to remember the day we visited here makes me realize I should have kept a better journal! Our sunrise shooting was a bust due to steady rain in the morning, so we packed up and headed north. The rain had let up by the time we stopped by these falls which made for perfect shooting conditions. The pool below these falls is a popular swimming hole, but there wasn’t anyone around. Would have been a little chilly that early in the morning!
