I am currently on a trip down south and after driving from Colorado to Florida it got me in the mood for spring. Here is one of my favorite images taken quite a few years ago. On the drive west of Crested Butte, Colorado you will travel into a massive aspen grove that spreads for miles and miles. It is fun to visit here throughout the year to experience the changes in the forest. In the springtime, wildflowers are sprinkled among the aspen trunks offering a delightful contrast between the white bark, the fresh greenery, and the splashes of color.

  1. What a nice scene. I can’t wait for spring and summer to arrive here in Colorado, and see some fresh green in the fields and trees. Not a big fan of visiting Florida, but I could surely enjoy the warmth down there.

    1. Thanks Rene. It didn’t warm up down here until yesterday! It is a lot different than out west, but I am looking forward to spending a few days down in Everglades…
